New finishes are emerging on the market that are both more vibrant and durable. Manufacturers have enhanced vinyl wall covering by creating layers of color, dramatic patterns and textures.

Many of these products have an increased environmental sensibility. Koroseal, for example, has a Wallcovering Reclamation Program; they will reclaim and recycle vinyl wall coverings removed from interiors.
