Interform Commercial Interiors was founded by Rich Watts in 1982 with the goal of
being a single source, full-service commercial interior solutions provider. The
name INTERFORM was derived by combining INTERior and performance.
Prior to founding
Interform, Rich worked at Armstrong Industries as a sales representative. He was
skilled at providing unique design solutions for commercial facilities. When he
launched Interform, he incorporated this same full-service provider mentality to
his new company.
Interform has been based in San Ramon for the past 20 years. The
company has been recognized as one of the fastest growing small businesses and one
of the largest commercial furnishings dealers in the area. Interform has also received
design awards for outstanding commercial interiors projects.
The company has two
contractor licenses – a C15 as a flooring contractor and a C6 as a cabinetry and
millwork installer. Licenses and certifications held by Interform employees include
California Architectural license, NCIDQ certification and LEED accreditation.
