The main challenge at this Presidio Bank was an accelerated time frame. For the design’s customized furnishings, we were taking measurements before the contractors had even created the interior walls. We had little margin for error; a delay would have meant a missed deadline.

We worked closely with Architect David Ebert, of FME Architecture + Design, to meet the accelerated timeline. We also chose to work with a dependable, local furniture manufacturer to eliminate shipping time and costs; it also gave us the ability to oversee the customized furniture as it was being built.

There were many dependencies on this project, so weekly team meetings were critical; careful management helped us deal with problems as they arose. We had just two-three days for the final installation, but we were able to finish this project within the required time frame. The result is a sleek space that, while corporate in feel, is warm and inviting and a backdrop for the company’s distinctive, bright logo.

In addition to our work on the Palo Alto branch of Presidio Bank, we designed and supplied furnishings for their office in San Rafael and did a conference room remodel in the Walnut Creek office.
